  In my opinion, no other guitar builder can come close to Art & Lutherie for quality at the price. Art & Luthier is the only brand at this level that I feel comfortable selling to NYCGS students while maintaining their trust and my reputation. The tone, materials, playability and workmanship are outstanding.

  My advice on buying a new guitar remains the same. Go to Guitar Center and play as many guitars as you can lay your hands on, before choosing the guitar that best suits you.   The company that is famous for the higher end Seagull guitars is the same company that makes Art and Luthier guitars. In Acoustic Guitar Magazine 2004 Players' Choice Awards, the Godin Guitar Co. was voted "Best Beginner Guitar" for their Seagull, Art & Lutherie, and La Patrie lines of acoustics, over Martin, Taylor, and Yamaha.
